17.....Strofifos
Product Prototype intended to help stimulate and strengthen fine motor skills. Strofifos is designed with wood (Cedar), acrylic, and plastic (PLA) to help stimulate the user's senses, along with incorporated lights.
Circuits and Arduino Mega 2560 programming made by Eduardo Alonso, Computer Sciences Engineer.
Usage Instructions: It requires four balls, one ball is to be placed in each hole located at the top of the prototype. The goal is to have all four balls reach the bottom, by spinning each wooden wheel. As the balls pass each level, the lights will turn into a different color.
STROFIFOS is made with two different main materials: plastic and wood. Each one has different textures, helping stimulate the senses. Correspondingly to the facts that wood is a very friendly and naturally textured material and that plastic is easy to domain. At the same time, it uses different color lights to capture attention.
Materials: Wood (Cedar), Acrylic, 3D Print (PLA), different color cables, motion sensors, circuits, RGB Diodos LEDs, and one Arduino MEGA 2560.
